Idea for a day trip for those of you who have Disneyland plans in your future. Take a day and take the train from Anaheim (Amtrak, not Metrolink) to San Juan Capistrano. Not only is it a little trinket of genuine California History, it is a lovely, and quiet way to spend the day. A welcome relief from the noise and constant movement of a day (or 3) at Disneyland. Following are links to some of my favorites in San Juan Capistrano, but the town isn't that big and the information is easily google-able.
